This client had made the decision internally to host their incentive trip in New Orleans and when they reached out to AMI for planning assistance, they expressed apprehension about the location. Previous incentive trips had been held at high-end resorts on Caribbean beaches. Holding an event in a city was a new experience for them and the client had concerns about safety and optics. The client needed not only program planning assistance but peace of mind expertise as well.
AMI’s expertise and experience led the way to a successful incentive program in New Orleans. Our team was able to secure an impressive venue for the client’s large opening gala—the ground floor of the Mercedes-Benz Superdome where the New Orleans Saints play. AMI’s creative team designed all the graphics for the scoreboards and jumbotrons as well as all other program collateral in-house. We organized a private concert at the House of Blues, celebrity speeches, culinary tours, and all the VIP transportation needs, transfers, and upgrades. The historic hotel property in the heart of New Orleans, though different from the client’s past beach-focused incentive programs, provided new experiences for connection.
